Editorial Policy
This policy explains the standards used for Healthy Pulse’s general health articles. The site aims for clear, cautious information and does not present its content as individualized medical care.
Research and sources
Health claims should be supported by sources suited to the topic. Preferred sources include public-health agencies, government medical institutes, recognized professional medical bodies, systematic reviews, and primary research when a more authoritative synthesis is unavailable. Articles link to the material used so readers can examine the context.
Claims and uncertainty
Articles should distinguish established guidance from emerging or limited evidence. Absolute promises, guaranteed outcomes, unsupported percentages, invented mechanisms, and claims that a food, supplement, cosmetic, or routine can cure disease are removed or qualified. Individual variation and practical limits should be stated where they affect the conclusion.
Safety and scope
Content should identify material contraindications, warning signs, vulnerable groups, and circumstances that call for professional assessment. Mental-health content should not discourage psychotherapy or medication. Exercise and nutrition content should not promote extreme restriction or imply that one approach is safe for everyone. Skin-care content should identify irritation, pregnancy, allergy, and procedure risks when relevant.
Authorship and clinical review
Healthy Pulse does not publish unverified biographies, credentials, or reviewer identities. The current workflow does not include routine review of every article by a physician or other clinician. If qualified review is added later, the reviewer, credentials, scope, and review date should be displayed only after verification.
Updates and corrections
Articles may be revised when guidance changes, a source becomes unavailable, or an error is found. A material correction should address the claim and its surrounding context rather than merely change wording. Readers can submit a correction request through the contact page.
Commercial content
Editorial conclusions should not be changed to satisfy an advertiser, affiliate partner, or product provider. Any future material commercial relationship should be disclosed near the affected content.
Reader responsibility
Healthy Pulse content is educational and cannot account for a reader’s complete medical circumstances. Read the Health Disclaimer before using the information to inform a health decision.
